Hey family!!
How are you! I hope really really good! Well this week was pretty good for me.  I offically have my own iPad now. It is so weird to have! We have all kinds of things that you couldn't even imagine on these things.  Everything is electronic, we don't have paper planners anymore or an Area Book or a Map Book, it is all on apps on the iPad.  It seriously blows my mind! I still feel so ditso when I use it because I am so used to paper everything.  But it has been good. I am still trying to figure out how to work it, but I know that will come with time!  It is a lot easier to bike with that's for sure, much lighter! Well lets see this week we had so many set appointments and basically every single one of them except for 2 fell through. hahaha story of my life. We also biked this week because it was the elders week for the car and it poured rain on us every day! Wow can anyone say Sister Jamison now has a nasty cold! Yes you can!  But it's all good, Sister Kreiberg and I worked the best that we could and even though our week didn't go as planned we still were blessed! On Saturday night we got home at about 8 to change into dry clothes and go back out and we had a little talk in the apartment before we went out, we talked about what could we have done better to have more appointments this week and if there was any reason something we did might have caused all this misfortune haha ( we just complained really I think and did some critical analyzing of our week)  then after that we went out for the last 45 minutes of our day and walked around our complex to decide what apartment building we should knock on. As we walked we stopped to say a prayer asking Heavenly Father where we should be and that we know that there is someone here ready to hear our message. After that we walked a bit more, picked a building we thought we should be at and then picked a door.  We knocked on the first door and a man named Nathan opened.  We asked if we could say a prayer with him and he said that we could. After the prayer Nathan asked us if what we were doing what was called witnessing, we say well we are here to spread the gospel and share with you our testimony, so we guess that's like a witness of Jesus Christ.  He then asked us if we believe that only a certain number of people are going to be saved in Heaven and then it dawned on us that he was asking if we were JDubs, we told him that we were not and he said oh that’s good haha, and then he asked us if we believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost were one being/power source and we told him that we did not, but that we believed they were all separate beings, but one in purpose. Then he said good, good. Well then I can listen to you, haha we said that is great and started to talk to him a little bit. Nathan is very cool, he lives alone and he is a retired disabled vet, as we spoke to him he told us that this was something he could see himself getting involved in because he needed to strengthen his faith and that he had nothing else to do. (because he can't work) We said well great, then you should come to church tomorrow.  He asked us where it was at and we gave him the address, he then said “oh wait I can't go the Super Bowl is tomorrow.”  We then asked him what was more important, God or football? He laughed and said you got me there, I know I should be in church, but how about this.  I want to watch the super bowl tomorrow so I am going to do that, and then you can come back sometime this week and teach me more about your gospel so that I can get more comfortable and I will go to church with you next week. We agreed on that and set an appointment with him for Tuesday.  Nathan is way funny and has a good sense of humor. While we were at his door he flipped out his iPad and added us on facebook, gave us his phone number and his email. and said that we could contact him anytime.  We told him that as sister missionaries we could not go in his house alone with him so that when we came back we would be bringing another male and female and he was all excited about that, you can tell that he wants some friends and so this will be great for him to have members at his lessons! Sister Kreiberg and I are way excited about teaching him and we know that Heavenly Father blessed us with meeting him after the bad week we had.
Well nothing else really too exciting happened this week.  Elder L. Tom Perry came and spoke to all the ward councils here and in the surrounding states and it was broadcast from the Olympia chapel in Windermere, which is right across the street from the temple. We got to watch the broadcast from our Ward Mission Leader's house, it was very good.  Elder Perry is seriously a fire cracker, haha he was yelling from the pulpit half the time (very enthusiastically of course) about missionary work and how ward councils should focus on missionary work with their ward, less actives and non members. It was nice to hear from him that it doesn't matter who you are, missionary work means helping people get to the temple whether you are a member or not!  It was so good. Loved it!
Well that is all the exciting news for the week! Love you all!
